History of London

The Romans came to England in AD 43, They built a town on the River Thames.
The first name was Londinium. Soon they built a brigde over the river and roads from Londinium to others parts of Britain.
Soon after 400, the Romans left there, and in this time there were fifty thousand people in the city.

London at Night.

There are more than seven thousand pubs in London. Some are now open from 11 o’clock in the morning until 11 o’clock at night. The Olde Wine Shades is 300 years old.
Most theatres and cinemas are in the West End. You can watch all kinds of plays, comedies and musicals.
There are some unusual theatre in London, one is the Open-Air Theatre in Regent’s Park.
A lot of good restaurants.
London is Beautiful, complete and one of the best cities to live.
